DOCtoJPG is an extremely simple conversion tool that can transform the pages of your Word documents into individual JPG image files. It allows you to convert any DOC and DOCX files either individually or by folders, and though its conversion speed can be highly improved, the quality of the resulting JPG images is fairly high.
The program offers no room for customization, and its interface reflects the simplicity of its functionality. The program's window consists of two tabs, one for the conversion of individual files, and a second one to convert all the Word files contained in a given folder. All you can do in any of these tabs is select the file or folder you wish to use as input – no output quality settings, no conversion lists, nothing, except for the possibility of selecting the folder where DOCtoJPG will store your JPG images.
The conversion process produces high-quality results, though it takes a bit longer to complete than expected, especially now that multi-threading technology allows for multiple and simultaneous conversion processes. The trouble with DOCtoJPG is not that it is an inefficient tool, it is mainly that it is not free, a tag price that I consider more adequate to the program’s simple functionality and lack of flexibility.
